Amanda Bynes is All That and more!
As we reported, the former child star’s conservatorship was extended for two more years until 2020.

Despite this news, family attorney Tamar Arminak says the court order could end at any time; in fact, the She’s The Man actress and her family aren’t even thinking about it!
The lawyer told ET on Friday:
“Both Amanda and her parents are on such good terms and happy with Amanda’s life and future, the conservatorship is the last thing on their minds… The fact that Amanda is living on her own, making her own decisions and future plans is something her parents are so proud of.”
Overall, it appears Bynes — who is enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising — is optimistic about what the future holds.
“Finally she is surrounded by friends and companions she can trust and really open up to. She feels free to be herself, which brings her so much happiness and excitement for the future… She is looking forward to graduating and the next phase of her life.”
Back in 2014, the former child star was placed on conservatorship after several run-ins with police and an involuntary psychiatric hold. That same year, she said on Twitter that she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
In 2017, during an interview with Hollyscoop‘s Diana Madison, Bynes admitted to being “on drugs” in years past, but is currently sober.
Arminak added:
“The fact that so many celebrities and people she admires have admitted recently that they also struggle with addiction and depression has given her a new confidence to be open about her own struggles.”
