Things might be looking up for Amanda Bynes.
The 28-year-old isn’t being prosecuted for the DUI she received last September, but this gal could still be put behind bars.

Let’s break this whole thing down:
Apparently the Los Angeles City Attorney decided against prosecuting the actress because he doesn’t think he can convince the jury to convict her due to the low level of Adderall in her bloodstream the day she was arrested.
While that’s great news for Amanda, there’s some bad news that followed!
An insider close to the situation revealed the City Attorney referred the case to the D.A. since driving with any Adderall in your system is a big no no and could be a violation of her probation!
You remember, right?
Here’s a brief refresher — late February of 2014, Amanda’s attorney was able to get her DUI charges from 2012 dropped for a plea deal which included three years probation, a fine, and an attending an alcohol education class.

Ultimately, the District Attorney could possibly try and revoke her probation and get her thrown in jail. However, she might be able to evade jail time because of her serious mental health issues.
If being in jail gets in the way of the treatment she needs, it’s highly doubtful the D.A. will go through with charging her for breaking her probation.
It sounds like if Amanda continues her treatment, she won’t face jail time. Let’s hope she makes the right decision and gets the help she so desperately needs.
