It’s been so hard to hear that Amanda Bynes was still suffering from a lot of the same issues, even before this latest DUI arrest.
Even her parents, who until recently had a conservatorship to protect Amanda, don’t seem to grasp the depth of Amanda’s problems.

But hairstylist Lindsey White, who has been doing Amanda’s ‘do for the past few months, thinks she knows the root of the star’s problem.
And she seems to think it’s other people. She says:
“She’s very well aware that everyone’s attacking her. She can’t really trust anybody.”
Um, isn’t your hairstylist supposed to be the one you trust?
According to Ms. White, Amanda has never had any trouble with erratic behavior at her salon. It’s leaving that’s the problem. She says:
“She is such a sweet person. It sucks that somebody doesn’t even want to go outside to a restaurant because they’re so paranoid about the way they look because they’ve been so trashed by the media.”
We’ll assume Ms. White is trying to help by going to the media she thinks is trashing Amanda, but let’s get something straight.
Amanda is a beloved actress. The world wants her to get better.

No one started attacking her and doing stories about her out of nowhere that caused her to begin acting erratically.
When that first started, everyone was just trying to make sense of it.

She has some serious mental health issues. The paranoia to which Ms. White is referring is just that- a problem that poor Amanda is suffering from.
Amanda is the one who trashes how she looks. And it’s sad because she’s such a vibrant, beautiful girl.
As for her school troubles, Ms. White thinks she knows what’s going on there also. She says:
“She had all plans to finish school, but she had a few procedures done and didn’t want to be in public at FIDM. She hated going to school.”
What kind of procedures? This is definitely the first we’re hearing of it. And this doesn’t quite jibe with what we’ve heard about her behavior at school.
At this point, we’re not sure we can trust what this “friend” of Amanda is saying.
