OK, we’re going to proceed with caution here, but this is a pretty hopeful update about Amanda Bynes‘ rumored pregnancy.
As reported on Monday, the starlet and her on-again fiancé Paul Michael told the world they are expecting their first child together by sharing a photo of the All That star’s sonogram! Within hours of the surprising announcement though, the shot vanished from both of their social media profiles leaving us confused about what to believe.
Was the couple hacked again for the second time in a row? Did they jump the gun with sharing the baby news or are they actually prepping to become first-time parents together?

There’s little evidence for us to follow on their respective Instagram accounts at the moment. However, a source close to the situation recently went on record and told Us Weekly that Amanda is definitely pregnant:
“Amanda is just barely pregnant and she is very happy.”
In fact, an eyewitness spotted the 33-year-old actress at an OBGYN’s office in Los Angeles earlier that same day her ultrasound pic nearly broke the internet. The onlooker claimed Bynes was in the waiting room with a female friend, noting Michael was not at the appointment with her.
“[The friends] were chatting about what to expect.”
The chatty source told the outlet the ladies were eagerly awaiting Amanda’s next sonogram update:
“She seemed excited. She was dressed casual and keeping a low profile. The lobby was pretty empty so no one bugged her.”
Ahh! If it isn’t already obvious, we’re so excited about this unexpected baby news and we hope the parents-to-be are in a good headspace to move forward together.
Earlier we mentioned how jarring it was to see the pair’s pic disappear as quickly it popped up, but that isn’t our only concern! We heard conflicting reports about Amanda and her fiancé’s rumored split over the weekend as Paul himself told InTouch things were officially over. Then he essentially walked back that claim and noted a “hacker” infiltrated the duo’s IG accounts and deleted all of their photos together:
“Both of our instas got hacked and someone deleted our pictures and sent dms [direct messages] saying we broke up. We never broke up and weren’t able to log into our instagrams until last night.”
He also clarified the nature of his finacée’s recent court order to admit herself into a psychiatric facility, something reports claim the FIDM graduate did not do.
“She’s not ordered to go to a hospital. She’s ordered to go to a residential treatment, which is called inpatient, but she’s not in a hospital. She is affected by trauma from her childhood. The anxiety made her drop out of school and the judge ordered her to work on that in residential treatment.”
Paul Michael noted Amanda is doing everything she can to stay healthy and work through her issues right now:
“She’s allowed to come and go as long as she goes to therapy. She’s doing really well, besides anxiety and trauma.”
