Thank goodness! We were beginning to doubt this would ever happen!
But while it may not have seemed as though Amanda Bynes‘ behavior was any less bizarre this week, sources close to the troubled actress claim that she may be beginning to think clearly… because she has apparently reached out to her understandably concerned parents!
Last we heard from Amanda herself, she had cut both Lynn and Rick Bynes out of her life, but thankfully, in between posting selfies in various states of undress to Twitter, she realized it was time to mend some broken fences!
As insiders explain:
“Amanda reconnected with her parents this week and it was a really positive talk on both ends. Her parents are good people who are genuinely concerned for her. And Amanda misses them, so she finally called them up. The last place Amanda wants to be is Los Angeles. She likes New York and doesn’t want to leave. But Amanda’s parents really want to see her so they’re thinking of flying out to New York as early as next week. Amanda is totally acting odd, but she’s not crazy at all like people are making her out to be. She’s just going through a hard time in her life and maybe not coping with it like she should be.”
Well, regardless of what’s actually going on, we’re just relieved that she’s allowing loved ones back into her life!
This can only mean good things, and we sincerely hope that reconnecting with her loved ones helps Amanda to continue making positive choices and moving forward with her life, health, and happiness!
