It’s just one thing after another for this troubled actress, and it doesn’t look like the media frenzy following her bong-related arrest is going away anytime soon.
Upon fleeing from the press at Manhattan Criminal Court, Amanda Bynes apparently hopped into a NYC cab with $20 from her lawyer and headed directly for her apartment on West 47th and 8th Ave.
Though, it turns out $20 just wasn’t enough to get her home! Her cab driver, Mir A. Hossain from Jamaica, Queens, alleged that the troubled star’s fare was $27. As the two pulled up to her building, surrounded by a swarm of reporters, Amanda reportedly had some trouble getting out. He revealed:
“She said, ‘You go quick. Lock the door and go quick. I asked her, ‘Why are all the people chasing us?’ and she didn’t say anything.”
He then added:
“I’m not upset about the seven dollar. I’m happy, because she’s a famous lady.”
Well, that’s nice of him!
Seven bucks for some precious Amanda time. More than worth it!!
