Just last month, actress Amanda Bynes was arrested for a DUI, and now, nearly a month later, her charges have been announced.
According to officials, in the next two weeks, Amanda will be charged with refusal to take a chemical test. In California, it’s illegal to refuse to take a blood or breathalyzer test when you are arrested for a DUI.
A law enforcement source said:
├óΓé¼┼ôAmanda’s first court date will be in Beverly Hills at the beginning of June. She won’t be required to be there because it’s only a misdemeanor.”
If Bynes is convicted of the charge, she’ll have to spend 48 hours in jail AND give up her license for a year!
The former child star has been out of the public eye lately, after being advised by her publicist to do so.
