Holy cow! This is scary!
Former American Gladiator Dan Clark, aka Nitro was hospitalized last Wednesday after he had a heart attack while working out at an El Lay gym!
Dan says he was working out when he began experiencing chest pain and his left arm went numb. A friend drove him to urgent care when they realized he was having a heart attack!
Nitro was rushed to emergency surgery where doctors were able remove a blood clot from one of his arteries and fit him with a stent.
The medical emergency was a bit of a surprise considering Nitro is in VERY good shape, however, he admitted that the heart attack was more than likely caused by years of steroid abuse from his days on American Gladiator!
Luckily, Dan says he should make a full recovery as long as he stays away from the gym for the next month, and hopefully he’s off the juice for good too!
