Slap us with some Deadwood and wrap us in a straight jacket, ’cause Ryan Murphy has added ANOTHER iconic actor to his second installment of the critically acclaimed horror anthology, American Horror Story: Asylum…
It’s the dark and twisty Ian McShane!
Ryan tweets:
Guess who’s coming to #AmericanHorrorStory Asylum to tussle with Jessica Lange? Legendary Golden Globe winner Ian McShane!
— Ryan Murphy (@MrRPMurphy) October 10, 2012
Ian’s role will be directly involved with Jessica Lange‘s character Sister Jude… we wonder, will he be the devious/pious nun’s saving grace!?
Mr. McShane adds an extra special spice to an already tongue tingling AHS cast, which includes returning members (in brand new roles) Sarah Paulson, Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, Mz. Lange, and newcomers Adam Levine, Chloe Sevigny, James Cromwell, Clea Duvall, Chris Zylka, Joseph Fiennes, Mark Consuelos and Lizzie Brochere.
The first episode of AHS:Asylum premieres NEXT WEEK and we are maybe, definitly freaking the F*CK OUT.
Perhaps it’s time we paid a visit to Briarcliff Manor… EEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
