Deaf Singer BLOWS AWAY America's Got Talent Judges While Performing Her Original Song!

It’s tough to stand out in an age of primetime TV oversaturated with music competitions.
But you’ll definitely want to remember the name Mandy Harvey!

The 29-year-old singer wowed America’s Got Talent judges performing of her original song Try — which was inspired by her heartbreaking battle with hearing loss.
Mandy has been singing since she was four, but left music after she lost all her hearing at 18 years old due to a “connective tissue disorder.”
Refusing to give up on her passion, the performer eventually learned how to sing through muscle memory and trusting her pitch.
Accompanied by her interpreter, Sarah, Mandy took off her shoes before she sang to feel the tempo and beat of the music through the floor of the stage — and then belted out her hauntingly beautiful original song.
Mandy received a standing ovation from Mel B, Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel — not to mention the entire audience — before Simon used his Golden Buzzer on the Florida native!
Ch-ch-check out the awe-inspiring performance (above) — and keep track of Mandy when America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
