Is Amy Robach‘s daughter on team stepdad?
As you know, the former Good Morning America star and her co-host T.J. Holmes’ extramarital affair was revealed after clips of them together surfaced online — and ever since their families have been caught up in the crossfire of drama.
Amy married actor Andrew Shue back in 2011, and at the time, the two blended their respective families, as they both had children from previous marriages. Amy shares Ava, 19, and Annalise, 16, with ex-husband Tim McIntosh, while Shue shares Nate, 26, Aidan, 24, and Wyatt, 19, with ex-wife Jennifer Hageney.
While Amy may have left Andrew, it’s clear the kids still consider themselves family after 12 years! In case you missed it, on Thursday Amy’s daughters took to Instagram to express their pride for their older brother Nate’s premiere of his 2023 film Sense, showing they’ve got an unbreakable bond as step-siblings! Ava shared a still from the movie on her Instagram Stories Tuesday, writing, “for big brother,” while Annalise excitedly wrote “proud lil sis” over her own Story post — a super sweet gesture!

Well, now it seems like Annalise is taking her gesture of loyalty a step further, because she posted to her Story on Sunday a snap of Andrew and Nate.

The interesting part was how she captioned the pic with two upside-down smiley face emojis. Usually those emojis are used to express passive-aggression or frustration — perhaps toward her mom and TJ who just got back from a romantic Mexico getaway? Amy’s daughters have been exceptionally quiet on the front of posting about their mom, but don’t seem shy about posting their stepdad and stepbro. Hmm…
The blended family (sans Mom) seemed to be as happy as they were pre-affair! And that’s saying a lot! Andrew gushing to Us Weekly in 2017 following his marriage to Amy in 2010:
“At least five nights a week we sit down for dinner together. And we spend one-on-one time with each kid. It really changes the relationship. It doesn’t have to be extravagant, but it’s rewarding.”
Oof. That’s something that’s definitely changed — well, at least it has for the former GMA host! She’s mostly spending her one-on-one time with a fellow former GMA anchor. It looks like the kiddos and the Melrose Place alum are still getting together for dinner without her while she’s getting cozy with her new man…
What do U think, Perezcious readers? Is this Amy’s kids’ way of subtly letting the world know they’re team Andrew? Let us know your thoughts in the comments (below).
