Amy Schumer Shows Off Baby Gene's Adorable First Bath! Awww!

Amy Schumer clearly has a knack for making all the new aspects of parenting seem cute as sweet as can be… while also being real about how much work the whole ordeal is, too!
The comedian shared another new, sweet photograph of her growing family on Friday night, taking to Instagram Stories to reveal the results from her and husband Chris Fischer‘s first time bathing their two-week-old son Gene Attell.

All in all, it seems as though things went pretty well for the 37-year-old superstar actress and her man, judging by the clean, happy baby in the pic — and the fact that neither parent seemed TOO frustrated by their relative lack of sleep and compete emotional exhaustion in the early stages of parenthood! LOLz!!

Sorry about those wet pants though, Amy… that just comes with the territory! Ha!!
Schumer has shown off quite a refreshing take on motherhood recently (and pregnancy before that), by refusing to gloss over some of the less-than-glamorous aspects of each one, but it’s clear there is a LOT of love within her family and for little Gene.

And hey, what can we say… some people criticized Amy at the time for performing so soon after giving birth, but let’s be real here: gotta get out there and make that money, baby really does need new shoes!
