On Saturday evening, Amy Schumer proved she’s as giving as she is funny. How you make ask??
Well, the Trainwreck star dropped a $1,000 tip on a $77 bar bill while enjoying a night out at the theatre to see Broadway’s hit musical Hamilton!

One of the bartenders, named Madeleine DeJohn, took to Instagram to share the evidence of Miz Schumer’s generosity (below).
LOVES it! Madeleine then told the NY Daily News about her reaction to the Inside Amy Schumer creator’s good dead. She noted:
“I was very touched, it was just something so generous and so kind that you don’t see every day.”
Aww! Not to mention, it seems as though the 34-year-old wasn’t even looking for praise for her actions. When the employee profusely thanked the A-lister, Amy responded:
“I’ve been there, I get it”
Could Amy be ANY cooler? Another staff member Sara Laursen took to Twitter to thank Jennifer Lawrence‘s bestie (below).
We can only imagine that the comedienne was so inspired by Lin-Manuel Miranda‘s innovative show about founding father Alexander Hamilton‘s rise to greatness that she JUST had to give a good tip. LOLz!
