Antonio Banderas was minding his own business at the 2018 Emmys Monday night when viewers noticed his clap was… not of a standard method?
OK, it was weird.

Instead of striking his hands together opened palmed — like we’re all accustomed to — the Genius star performed a mild-mannered golf clap with his digits in a quasi-heavy metal hand sign formation.
