It sounds like Antonio Banderas had quite the health scare as he was reportedly rushed to the hospital last week over an “agonizing chest pain.” Eek!

According to The Sun, on Thursday (January 26), The Mask Of Zorro star was rushed to the St Peter’s Hospital in Chertsey after he had a heart scare while working out in his home in Surrey, England. It’s said the A-lister was admitted to the hospital and was kept under observation, but, was ultimately released as his doctors found him healthy enough to go home. Phew!
Apparently, the 56-year-old even confirmed his episode to the publication and made sure to praise the medical staff who looked after him. Awwww!
The beloved actor also took to Twitter and noted:

We’re sure Antonio’s loved ones, including girlfriend Nicole Kempel, are happy to hear that he’s going to be just fine. Heck, we’re thrilled this stint in the hospital wasn’t more serious!
