UPDATE 1:17 PM PST: Ariana has taken to her Instagram Story on Friday to apologize for canceling the show. She wrote:
“Vegas, I’m currently working through some health issues and am beyond sorry I won’t be able to see you this weekend. I love you and so look forward to seeing u and making it up to u next year.”

It’s been quite an up-and-down year for Ariana Grande, and so it makes sense that the final weekend of it should be no different!
The thank u, next singer had been planning on performing a concert in Las Vegas on Saturday night, but according to TMZ, she just pulled the plug on it completely, reportedly due to an illness.

The show had been set to go down at the Cosmopolitan hotel before getting canceled; sources connected to the singer say she’s been sick all week and just hasn’t been getting much better.
Per their report, the illness could be as serious as bronchitis. Ugh!!
Regardless, Saturday night’s Vegas concert is off… and Grande’s huge year looks to be going out with a whimper…
Any fans who may have been looking forward to see Ari perform her first concert since breaking off her engagement with Pete Davidson will surely be disappointed, but hopefully she gets well soon for a healthy comeback in 2019!
