Ariana Grande is so glad fans are finally seeing just how “amazing” and “adorable” her boyfriend Ethan Slater is after the cheating scandal!

As Perezcious readers, people were fans of the relationship at first. News of the Wicked co-stars’ romance broke just days after the pop star called it quits with her then-husband, Dalton Gomez. But at the time, Ethan was married to his high school sweetheart Lilly Jay. Thus began all those cheating rumors. Ariana and Ethan shut down the affair allegations several times, but many did not buy a word they said.

The hate online continued for months, but then the Wicked premieres started. Attitudes about the couple have shockingly changed! People now love them together — well, at least more than before! And it’s all thanks to some super cute moments from Ethan, including a picture of him holding up Ari’s long train as she walked at the premiere of the movie in Sydney on November 3. Check it out:

You have to admit. This was really sweet! While at the Los Angeles premiere of the musical adaption on Saturday, the No Tears Left To Cry singer could not help but gush about how “happy” the world is seeing Ethan in a different light! She told Entertainment Tonight:

“It’s always that. He’s always that adorable and he’s so amazing in this film. He’s such an amazing person. I’m so happy people are getting to know him. My heart is very happy.”
