Did Ariana Grande just confirm romance rumors with her ex-boyfriend Ricky Alvarez?!
The artist was performing at Barclays Center in New York City on Monday night when she shocked fans with a very noteworthy lyric change! Dropping a major hint about her love life, she switched up the lyrics in her tune Thank U, Next. In the original 2018 hit, she sings:
“Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now I listen and laugh.”
But this week, she was singing a very different tune:
“Wrote some songs about Ricky / We always find our way back.”
OMG!
Fans in the venue broke out in cheers at the change, too. Aw! Hear it (below):

This actually isn’t the only time Ari has changed the words of the song during this tour. On June 26 in Austin, Texas, she said:
“Wrote some songs about Ricky / I know he’s still got my back.”
And just a few days later, she said:
“Wrote some songs about Ricky / And they still kinda slap.”
Hah!
It’s like she’s been chronicling their rekindling in her song all this time! Of course, these lyrics come after the exes have been spotted hanging out a ton, even over Fourth of July weekend! Sounds like things are heating up!

Thoughts?!
