Kelly Ripa is on the case!
As you surely know, The Bachelor‘s Bekah Martinez made headlines last week when it was revealed that she had made it on to a missing persons list — and only JUST got off it. While the pixie cut wearing starlet has since laughed off the missing persons snafu, on screen beau Arie Luyendyk Jr. was asked to weigh in on the mix up on Live! With Kelly And Ryan.

During a visit with Ripa and Ryan Seacrest for their show in the Bahamas, the 36-year-old was asked about Bekah’s “disappearance.” Although Arie didn’t say much, he did joke:
“I think the PSA for that is call your parents.”
Here’s where Kelly swooped in and offered up her “theory” for this season. Per Ripa, Martinez was missing because she’s the one Luyendyk Jr. ended up choosing. She noted:
“Bekah is the girl you choose, wanna know why I have this theory? Because she went into lockdown.”
