Fashion has gone completely media crazed!
On July 26th, Armani will be holding its second Tweet Talks session in London, which is an interactive forum held on Twitter to discuss important issues in fashion today.
How interesting!
The debates take place in different cities every few months, and the convo is led by inquiries tweeted to the panelists and the answers are then tweeted back.
Last month, the first ever Tweet Talk took place in Beijing and was hosted by Peter Howarth with the main subject being discussed was is “China, the new fashion superpower?”
The panel was made up of editor of Vogue China Angelica Cheung, blogger and photographer Tommy Ton, fashion blogger Susie Lau, fashion journalist Godfrey Deeny and Yoox founder Federico Marchetti.
Tweet Talk #2 will follow the same concept and will include fashion editor of The Times Laura Craik, former rugby international Thom Evans, editor of British GQ Dylan Jones, editor-in-chief of MRPORTER.COM Jeremy Langmead, founder of Spashion.com Tony Lewis and director/co-founder of The Sports PR company Caroline McAteer.
The discussion for the second Tweet Talk will be an analysis of the connection between fashion and sport and how it has changed over the last ten years.
Sounds fun enough, right?
We’re excited to see what the outcome of the Tweet Talks are going to be, and can’t wait for more to occur in the future.
Discussing fashion should always be top priority!
