Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have seemingly shut down divorce rumors!
Amid Diddy‘s arrest drama and the fact the couple hasn’t been seen together in a long time, rumors started swirling that they were headed for splitsville.
First off, what’s all the drama about?? Why would they be splitting over Diddy?? Last week, photos emerged online showing the Two and a Half Men alum partying with the musician. Given the allegations surrounding Diddy’s parties, that alone isn’t the best look — though obviously he’s far from the only celeb who’s been photographed enjoying a Diddy party.

The issue here is what Diddy called “Freak Offs,” — post-party events in which, per the federal indictment, the Grammy winner would drug and force people to perform nonconsensual sex acts, sometimes even recording them. Ashton was one of the first celebs really tied to the idea of these illegal party activities. A 2019 Hot Ones interview has also been going around amid Diddy’s accusations in which the That ’70s Show alum admitted when asked for stories about those parties:
“I’ve got a lot I can’t tell.”
But he did open up about their “bizarre” friendship after connecting over Punk’d. Hear him reflect on their connection (below):
Given the resurfaced stuff, fans speculated a friendship between the actor and vocalist could be causing a rift between the spouses.
Another reason fans were so quick to believe the worst about Ashton? The Diddy stuff comes right on the heels of his and Mila’s previous support of convicted rapist Danny Masterson. Last September, they were blasted for writing letters in support of their That ’70s Show co-star in hopes a judge would reduce his sentencing. In the letters, they called him a “role model” and an “amazing friend” — you know, despite the violent things he had done.
They eventually apologized for defending a legally proven rapist, with Mila stressing that they have always gone out of their way to “support victims” throughout their “work.” Meanwhile, Ashton pointed out that the letters were only ever meant for the judge to see and that they were asked to speak on the man they had known “for 25 years so that the judge could take that into full consideration relative to the sentencing.” So, they were sorry, but not that sorry. No matter how they framed it, they were still sticking up for a convicted rapist — someone who was, notably, found guilty of some of what Puff Daddy is now accused of.
With that in mind, it makes sense why fans would be curious where Ashton and Mila stand on Diddy today. We’re guessing a lot of folks are wondering if this could be a last straw for Mila. If Ashton were present at some of these “Freak Offs” would it change her opinion of him??
Well, it’s still just in everyone’s imagination for now.
The couple was spotted on Friday shopping at Gelson’s Market. Photos obtained by DeuxMoi over the weekend showed them in the car together in the parking lot. They were dressed casually and chatting — Mila in particular was seen talking animatedly, but Ashton didn’t look upset. Take a look:

On Sunday, the husband and wife gave fans more reassurance as they attended the Los Angeles Rams‘ game at SoFi Stadium with their kids. So, they’re really emerging into the spotlight again amid all this chatter! Just a coincidence? Or a PR move? Hmm.
Further shutting down rumors, a source spoke to People last Wednesday, insisting nothing’s going on with the marriage OR with the embattled rapper. The insider called breakup rumors “absolutely ridiculous and false.” On Ashton’s friendship with Diddy, another source hit back:
“Ashton has no involvement in any of this. He doesn’t belong in this conversation about Diddy. Ashton has only seen Diddy in a handful of social and business events, all of which have been documented by the media.”
Except for those party stories Ashton can’t tell, huh?
