When we found out Kate Middleton escaped her air conditionless Nottingham Cottage to go to her parents’ house over the weekend, we couldn’t help but wonder how she’d get the to the hospital if she went into labor!
There have been long-standing arrangements made at the local Berkshire hospital in case it was necessary, but the royal family found a better way to make sure the Duchess made the near-hour trip safely: a police escort!
Reportedly, there are cop cars outside of the Middletons’ home waiting to whisk Kate away at a moment’s notice, and they also double as the security detail.
We have to keep that little prince or princess safe!
No doubt Kate is loving spending these last days with her family, especially since it’s not known if Prince William returned to work yet or not.
It’s just a relief to see that they’ve thought of everything to ensure a healthy, happy delivery.
