No pain, no commemorating being the faces of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Five of the OG Avengers celebrated the release of Infinity War by getting matching tattoos of the superhero team’s logo from New York-based tattoo artist Josh Lord!
Robert Downey Jr. confirmed the team bonding experience to EW, telling the outlet that it was Scarlett Johansson‘s idea for the group to get the matching ink.

The Iron Man star explained that ScarJo and Chris Evans got their tats done in New York, then flew out Lord to LA to ink up RDJ and Jeremy Renner. The gang then “bullied” Chris Hemsworth into getting one, too — but, sadly, could not convince the squeamish Mark Ruffalo to permanently mark himself.
RDJ added that, in return, each of the tatted Avengers “drew a line” on Lord with his own tattoo gun, and “it was a total massacre.” LOLz!
