Azealia Banks On Kendrick Lamar's Ferguson Comments: 'That's The Dumbest Sh*t I've Ever Heard'

We guess she’s really mad!
That may be the understatement of the year after a Billboard interview with Kendrick Lamar came out that had the rapper talking about Ferguson and Michael Brown. But one contemporary musician was NOT happy with what Kendrick said!
After the interview came out, Azealia Banks came out online to voice her opinion of what the rapper said and it was obvious from her words how she was really feeling!
Here’s what Kendrick originally said in the interview released this past Friday:

“I wish somebody would look in our neighborhood knowing that it’s already a situation, mentally, where it’s f—ked up. What happened to [Michael Brown] should’ve never happened. Never. But when we don’t have respect for ourselves, how do we expect them to respect us? It starts from within. Don’t start with just a rally, don’t start from looting — it starts from within.”

Hours after this interview was posted, Azealia must’ve read it and decided to post some responses of her own to Kendrick.
And she really went in on him.
Here’s everything she wrote on Twitter:

“‘When we don’t respect ourselves how can we expect them to respect us’ dumbest sh*t I’ve ever heard a black man say…Lol do you know about the generational effects of poverty, racism and discrimination?…There are things in society that benefit a select few of us. fine…. But don’t put down the rest by saying they don’t respect themselves…HOW DARE YOU open ur face to a white publication and tell them that we don’t respect ourselves…. Speak for your f**king self… really pray for the minds of the urban youth, I really do because I was once on the side of feeling like I wasn’t owed anything…Once on the side of feeling like black people ain’t sh*t because that’s what America and my social studies textbooks taught me…Becoming an adult and doing my own research has REALLY opened up my f**king eyes, and I get upset to know that…There are still young black kids in our public schools being indoctrinated with the same sh*t they pumped into my head…And f**k all this sh*t about erasing racial barriers and getting along… Why does white America think blacks even wanna be here?!…I really just want my f**king reparations, and want you guys to stop killing my sons and telling my daughters they’re ugly.”

Wow.
She kind of went off track there at the end of that epic rant.

But her first couple of tweets revealed a few things about Azealia Banks. One, she’s passionate about certain topics. Two, she isn’t afraid to speak her mind. And three, 140 characters is definitely not enough space for Banks to jot all her thoughts down.
Kendrick has yet to respond to Azealia and that may prove to be the wisest response to this lady.
We’ve seen in the past that this woman does NOT back down with anyone when it comes to a war of words on the internet, and engaging with her on Twitter is almost like adding fuel to her fire.
And her fire slash anger doesn’t seem like it’ll be burning out anytime soon!
