Bachelor Nation Stars Who've Dated Celebrities!

What is it about Bachelor Nation stars that seems to track so well with some of Hollywood biggest celebrities?!

The contestants who sign up for the franchise are often catapulted to new levels of fame (which they’ve likely dreamed of) before their tenure on the show is over, making them household names in their own right. In fact, most of them go on to become mega-influencers, but something about their popularity within A-list crowds has reached a fever pitch in recent years.

For example, this past summer we saw not one, but TWO guys from The Bachelorette gain notoriety and find love with a celeb after getting dumped!

Is it a mutual understanding of what it’s like to live your life in the spotlight? Or, the shared knowledge they’re all just normal people looking for love and companionship when the cameras aren’t rolling? And, do these pairings last longer than most?

Someone should really do a case study on this! But, in the meantime…

Gigi Hadid & Tyler Cameron

Tyler Cameron is easily one of the most recognizable faces on this list, thanks to his recent summer fling with supermodel Gigi Hadid. The hunky Florida native finished as the first runner-up on Hannah Brown‘s season and fans were hopeful they’d reconnect after the Alabama gal ended her engagement to winner Jed Wyatt. That possibility quickly faded when Tyler was spotted on multiples dates with Bella Hadid‘s sister just days after the show (and his brief rendez-vous with Brown) ended.

The pair of models went from friends to casually dating in what felt like the blink of an eye. Talk about a gorgeous couple, though! But Cameron surprised us all when he set the record straight about their status, telling Entertainment Tonight, “We’re just friends.” Hmm. Just friends, even though there’s tons of evidence which suggests otherwise?!

But after an insider “close to the situation” confirmed the former college football star and 24-year-old Hadid “are no longer together” in early October, with zero context about how and why they split, we had to let our dreams about this ridiculously good-looking couple go for good.

Bummer! They were so cute together!

Wells Adams & Sarah Hyland

In Wells Adams‘ case, getting booted from JoJo Fletcher‘s season of the reality dating competition show was probably the best thing that ever happened to him because it eventually led him to his true love: Sarah Hyland!

After his subsequent stint on Bachelor In Paradise in 2016, the 34-year-old and the Modern Family actress started to exchange flirty comments on Twitter and it wasn’t long before Adams slid in the DMs! Roughly a year later, the duo made their relationship Instagram official around Halloween of 2017.

It’s been nothing but love and laughter for ’em ever since Wells relocated from Nashville to Los Angeles earlier this year to pursue things with Sarah. In July 2019, the pair took the next step in their romance by getting engaged! As one of the most successful couples to form outside of the Bachelor Nation bubble, we’re rooting hard for these two!

Nick Viall & Rachel Bilson

So, the verdict is still out on this one!

Late last month, rumors began to swirl that former Bachelor Nick Viall and Rachel Bilson were an item. For starters, the 39-year-old admitted to “professionally” sliding into the 38-year-old’s DMs to invite her on his podcast back in July. The two were finally able to make their interview happen a month later and both posted flirty photos together on their respective IG accounts to promote the show.

After the BiP alum and the Hart of Dixie star got acquainted, Viall started leaving cheeky comments under several of her pics. Real subtle, LOLz. The reality TV star even referred to Bilson as a “dream” girl in conversation with Us Weekly, but he also told the outlet they were simply friends.

On the other hand, Rachel was a bit more tight-lipped about the pair’s status when Us caught up with her a few days later, denying the publication a quote by simply noting, “I don’t want to talk about it.” Her pal Jaime King upped the ante when she added, “That’s private; we’ll keep that private for now” in reference to the romance.

Rach has since moved on to Bill Hader and Nick is very single — and supportive of the new pairing!

Nick Viall & January Jones

Okay, so this was technically more of a rumor!

People thought Nick Viall and January Jones were dating after they were caught casually flirting on Twitter back in 2018. After all, the Mad Men star has been a self-proclaimed superfan of the franchise for years, so, it’s not far-fetched to think she was going after Viall’s final rose! 

After the twosome became friendly online, a Page Six report came out claiming they’d actually been dating for months.

However, after tales of their romance took on a life of their own, Jones spoke out and addressed her official status with the Viall Files podcast host. Setting the record straight, she told Entertainment Tonight:

“He’s a friend of mine. He’s super sweet. No, I’m single. But, he’s a friend of mine and tells me lots of inside scoops.”

So, were they ever officially an item? Guess we’ll never know!

Mike Johnson & Demi Lovato

Many fans were upset when Mike Johnson wasn’t announced as ABC’s next leading man. However, the disappointment didn’t last very long after it was reported the portfolio manager found love on his own terms with superstar Demi Lovato!

It all started when eagle-eyed followers spotted the pair flirting on Instagram back in July; the Confident singer made it crystal clear she’s had her eye on the San Antonio, Texas native, who was a standout contestant on Hannah Brown’s season. Johnson returned the social media love, and soon, things quickly picked up from there as several sources dished the two are “having fun and getting to know each other.”

Just a few months later, the two were reportedly seen sharing a meal at the Beverly Hills restaurant La Scala. The 31-year-old reality star went on to confirm his date with the “astounding and amazing” Grammy nominee and days later, he was kissing and telling about their regular steamy makeout sessions to Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti Haibon on iHeartRadio‘s Almost Famous podcast.

Although these two make quite the couple, there’s really no telling how far this romance will ultimately go. However, an insider close to Demi recently noted they are only “casually dating” for now. They said:

“Demi and Mike’s relationship isn’t anything serious. Now that Demi has had ample time to get her life back on track, particularly from a sobriety perspective, she is broadening her horizons and starting to put herself out there a bit more.”

Considering the fact Johnson also asked out another celebrity on live TV shortly after they began hanging out, we weren’t exactly surprised to hear they had cooled off by October 2019. Way to fumble that one, dude!

Colton Underwood & Aly Raisman

Before appearing as a contestant on Becca Kufrin‘s season of The Bachelorette, Colton Underwood dated Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman! The pair met in mid to late 2016 after being set up by a friend on a blind date and continued their relationship through June 2017.

The two reportedly called it quits because they were unable to make their busy schedules work; Raisman was busy winning multiple gold medals for Team USA while Underwood was figuring out post-NFL life after being released by the Oakland Raiders. The 27-year-old would go on to become our first virgin Bachelor and ultimately find love within the Bach bubble with current girlfriend, Cassie Randolph. 

Courtney Robertson & Jesse MetCalfe

Years before she appeared on season 16 to compete for Bachelor Ben Flajnik’s heart, Courtney Robertson dated Jesse Metcalfe from 2005 to 2007. After things ended between Robertson and the John Tucker Must Die star, she wrote about him in her book, I Didn’t Come Here to Make Friends: Confessions of a Reality Show Villain. 

Courtney did not mince words as she described her ex as “passionate, but a total mess.” According to her juicy memoir, she also allegedly enjoyed a fling with Entourage’s Adrian Griner and Gerard Butler at one point, too. Apparently, this is one reality TV star who knows her way around Hollywood circles — maybe she should write another book about that, too!

Chase McNary & Chelsea Lynn Pezzola

Chase McNary was a frontrunner during JoJo Fletcher’s season of the dating competition spinoff, but the rose-handler sent him home and ended up engaged to Jordan Rodgers. (Yes, the brother to the Green Bay Packers quarterback and football legend, Aaron Rodgers.)

McNary went on to date not one but two celebrities, though! The third runner-up found himself in a two-week fling with professional golfer Chelsea Lynn Pezzola (pictured), but the two reportedly parted ways because they weren’t on the same page.

Now, about that other celebrity girlfriend…

Chase McNary & Tomi Lahren

This guy really has a thing for blondes! LOLz.

Chase McNary and controversial political commentator Tomi Lahren had what he described as a very short-lived fling back in January 2017. At the time, the Bachelor Nation alum told Us Weekly things didn’t work out because they just weren’t on the same page. (Sound familiar?) He admitted:

“We were talking for about two weeks, but we weren’t in the same place, so we went our separate ways. I have nothing bad to say about her. She’s a great girl.”

In hindsight, it was probably for the best these two didn’t work out as the disgraced TV pundit has since been described as the millennial Ann Coulter for her consistently racist and offensive commentary. That is NOT the kind of association anyone needs in their life! With that being said — Lahren announced she got engaged to her boyfriend Brandon Fricke this past Spring. So, good for her, we guess?

Lauren Bushnell & Chris Lane

Lauren Bushnell actually won season 20 of The Bachelor starring Ben Higgins, but the couple eventually went their “separate ways” one year after they got engaged during the season finale. Following a brief relationship with businessman Devin Antin, Bushnell has since started dating country music singer Chris Lane. The duo made things publicly official when they attended the 66th Annual BMI Country Awards together in 2018. And most recently, the happy pair got married! Yay!

Robby Hayes and Scheana Shay

Robby Hayes and Scheana Shay sparked romance rumors after they were spotting looking extra cozy together at a Vegas pool party back in August. According to TMZ, Hayes and the Vanderpump Rules star were getting “very handsy and kissy” at a day party for their mutual friend’s birthday at the Encore Beach Club. Onlookers noted they were “all over each other and didn’t care who noticed,” including the paparazzi who were on duty for the event.

The chemistry between ’em dates back even further to May of 2018 when the reality TV vets enjoyed some one-on-one time together on a trip to Hawaii.

So, can we ship these two already or not?

Well, the 34-year-old got real about her undeniable physical connection with the male model in conversation with Us Weekly days after their smooch fest. And though she called him “hot,” noted his “good abs,” and admitted he’s “a good kisser,” she was careful with her words when asked if they were an official item (below):

“We’re neighbors, so it’s like super easy to hang out or fly to Vegas together, whatever. It was our friend’s 30th birthday. We hang out a lot, but I don’t know, there’s something about, like, being in other cities with him and then we just end up making out.”

Hmm. Sounds like a noncommittal friends-with-benefits situation to us. But, does this one count if they’re both technically celebrity TV stars? We’ll let you decide!
