Could Nick Viall find love in The O.C.?
Eagle-eyed social media users have picked up on more than a few hints that The Bachelor alum could finally be lucky in love with Rachel Bilson.

For starters, he admitted to “professionally” sliding into her DMs to invite her on his podcast The Viall Files back in July, sharing with listeners:
“I slid into her DMs, professionally… I knew that Rachel was a big Bachelor fan. I’ve been a fan of Rachel for some time. I had noticed throughout, maybe the past couple of years, there was one time I think you might have commented on my Instagram and I noticed it. I was like, ‘[Gasp!] Really?’ This is really exciting for me.”
She joked, calling him out for not messaging her sooner:
“You didn’t slide into my DMs then. You could have told me you were excited then.”
While on the show, Hayden Christensen‘s ex talked about living the single life, explaining that she has dated but no one has been serious enough to meet her daughter Briar Rose Christensen:
“She has not met anyone as of yet and it would have to be someone I know I’m going to be with. It would have to be a very serious relationship. I was talking to this guy a few months back. Anytime I would bring my daughter up, [he] would never pursue the question or ask more about her. It was a red flag because anyone that you’re going to get involved with, if you have a kid, they have to be all about the kid.”
Hmmm… do we think Nick is worthy?

To promote the pod, both celebs shared photos together to their Instagram accounts. Viall shared a pic of the two on the couch, captioning it: “Will we choose to forgo our individual rooms…,” and the 38-year-old left her response in the comments:
“He slid into her….dms #SheAccepted”
The Hart of Dixie alum also posted a photo of the two to her Insta where she looks surprised as he talks, writing:
“When he tells you he’s actually been on The Bachelor shows 4 times…”
The Wisconsin native hit back:
“And you call yourself a Bach fan.”
In the time since her podcast appearance, it seems they have gotten fairly friendly and he’s left several other comments (below) on her IG posts:
