Wow, this game of musical chairs on The View seems to never end!
We reported earlier today that Katie Couric might be the heiress apparent to Barbara Walters‘s throne on The View‘s panel when Babs retires sometime next year.
But it seems that the rumors might be untrue!
Barbara herself called these allegations under critical reView:
“I love Katie and we are good friends. She is always welcome as a guest on ‘The View’ and I was recently a guest on her show, but there is no truth to the rumor that she will be taking my place on ‘The View.’”
Hmm well BaWa denied that she was going to be leaving The View, and, wouldn’t you know it, we found out that she’s indeed calling it quits next year.
So, maybe there is some shred of truth to these rumors, but perhaps they’re saving up for an announcement later on!
Meanwhile, The View‘s Game of Thrones-esque power struggle continues on!
