Sad news.
Over the weekend, it was confirmed that Barney Miller star Ron Glass had passed away. It’s said the Firefly actor died on Friday evening due to a respiratory failure. He was 71-years-old.

Glass’ longtime agent Jeffrey Leavitt has since commented on Ron’s death to CNN as he shared:
“It is with a very heavy heart that I confirm the passing of my dear friend and client Ron Glass. Ron passed late last night of respiratory failure. Ron was a private, gentle and caring man. He was an absolute delight to watch on screen. Words cannot adequately express my sorrow.”
Tissues, anyone?? Glass was quite the industry vet as he was nominated for an Emmy for his role in Barney Miller. So it’s no wonder numerous celebrities have since taken to Twitter to pay tribute to Ron — including Joss Whedon, Samuel L. Jackson, Nathan Fillion, and more!
