Don’t expect to see Ben Affleck at his own movie premiere! Not when his soon-to-be ex-wife Jennifer Lopez will be there!
For those who don’t know, the 52-year-old actor and his best friend Matt Damon are co-producers on the new film Unstoppable starring J.Lo. It is set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on Friday — but Ben won’t be there! E! News confirmed he is ditching it! Where will the filmmaker be instead? The outlet reported Ben is working in Los Angeles and hanging out with his children, Violet, Fin, and Samuel.

Jennifer is supposed to make an appearance on the red carpet, though! So from what we gather, Ben really wanted to avoid an awkward run-in with the singer amid their divorce. Damn! However, director William Goldenberg insisted there isn’t any “awkwardness” between the exes! He told Variety on Friday:
“Not really. Everybody’s a professional, and that’s their own personal thing. I love them both. I mean, I know Ben better, but Jennifer was literally a dream to work with. She was incredible. And their personal life is their personal life.”
Hmm.
We would say Ben not showing up to one of the biggest events for the project in order to seemingly steer clear of Jennifer means things are pretty tense between them! Just saying!
