Ben Affleck is SO over Jennifer Lopez!
Earlier this week, the Justice League star broke his silence about all things J.Lo seven months after she filed for divorce. In a cover story for GQ, he explained in part:
“I guess there’s a tendency to look at breakups and want to identify root causes or something. But honestly, like I said, the truth is much more quotidian than probably people would believe or would be interesting … There’s no scandal, no soap opera, no intrigue. The truth is, when you talk to somebody, ‘Hey, what happened?’ Well, there is no: ‘This is what happened.’ It’s just a story about people trying to figure out their lives and relationships in ways that we all sort of normally do.”

On Friday, an insider told People the GQ cover was his one go at “clearing the air” on all things J.Lo split:
“Ben’s doing well. The GQ story was kind of all about clearing the air one last time. He’s done talking about JLo. He’s not proud that their marriage didn’t work out. He didn’t want to hurt her. But now he wants to just focus on his kids and work.”
That’s fair! It seems like all he wants to talk about nowadays is his other ex Jennifer Garner… LOLz!
The source added Ben feels “very passionate about work and excited about upcoming projects.”
Well, with the Jenny from the Block reportedly moving far away from Ben, they’ll be out of sight and out of mind for each other!
