Matt Damon is a loose cannon these days!
In the past month, the actor has made a lot of controversial comments about race, the LGBT community — and now he’s taking a swing at Ben Affleck‘s ex, Jennifer Lopez!

Sheesh, what has gotten into the actor?!
In a recent interview, Damon recalled the period of time when his BFF Ben dated the singer, and he has nothing but mean inneresting things to say. The Boston native revealed:
“There’s nobody who’s more misunderstood. Ten years ago, the public image could not have been farther apart from who he actually is. It was like he was being cast in a role, that he was a talentless kind of meathead, with his whole relationship with Jennifer Lopez.”
Um, even if this was the case, why did Matt have to name drop?! The Bourne Identity star didn’t have to call out the mom specifically!
Matty added:
“He just got cast as this person that he wasn’t, It was just really painful. It was painful to be his friend, because it wasn’t fair, you know? To my mind, nobody really got him at all.”
Well, regardless of what you think about Damon’s word choice, it’s clear that he really cares about Affleck! We just wonder what J.Lo thinks of these comments…
