Beth Chapman Talks 'Incurable' Cancer Battle & Jokes About Dying In Her Boots In 'Dog's Most Wanted' Trailer

Beth Chapman talks cancer battle in Dog's Most Wanted trailer

As expected, Beth Chapman’s fatal cancer battle is a huge part of her family’s new reality show, Dog’s Most Wanted.

The late 51-year-old made an appearance in the brand-new trailer for the WGN America series, which shows her opening up about her health journey before she sadly lost her battle to the disease earlier this year.

At one point in the sneak peek, she shares:

“Once you find out that it’s an incurable lung cancer, there’s no stage five.”

Dog the Bounty Hunter also addressed Beth’s health in the clip, telling cameras:

“I love her. And I’ll do anything for her.”

So, so heartbreaking.

As we reported back in June, Dog confirmed Beth had passed away in Hawaii following a long battle with throat cancer.

The famed bounty hunter has spoken out about the tragic loss in the weeks since, revealing he’s been struggling to move on without the love of his life. He recently explained to ET:

“I haven’t gotten past the place where I’m [not] putting a pillow where she was and covering it up. And then I wake up in the middle of the night and I see her and it doesn’t register that [it] ain’t her. I’m still there.”

Dog (real name Duane Chapman) also revealed he’s lost 17 pounds since Beth’s death, adding:

“I can’t eat. Two bites, I’m full. I got to force feed myself like I force fed her.”

The reality star was cremated in late June, per her final wishes, and honored by her family in a public gathering in Hawaii that included chants, prayers, and a paddle out to the ocean with family and friends.

During an emotional speech at the ceremony, Dog told fellow mourners:

“After my mom died, I said well, ‘My mom is in the Earth’… In my tribe, we believe she becomes part of the Earth, the sea, the sky and the rain. Beth is going to be placed here too, she got here before I did, it’s my island. She said, ‘Please, Hawaiian style, Duane Dog Chapman.’ I tried to have her call me Dog for so many years. She said, ‘Please do this right,’ so I appreciate everyone being here.”

We’re sure fans will appreciate Beth being such an integral part of the premiere season of Dog’s Most Wanted.

In addition to the matriarch’s health battle, the season will focus on the couple going on a cross-country manhunt to track down a carefully curated list of Dog’s most wanted fugitives.

Beth even jokes at one point in the trailer:

“If I’m going to die, I’m going to die in my boots.”

Watch the trailer (below) and catch the premiere of Dog’s Most Wanted September 4 at 9 p.m. on WGN America.
