Star Seeker

Bhad Bhabie

Teen Rapper Bhad Bhabie Is In Rehab!

Rapper Bhad Bhabie has reportedly checked into rehab for issues with substance abuse.

UPDATE 6/19/2020 10:41 A.M. PST: Bhad Bhabie completed a 30-day stay for prescription pill abuse and childhood trauma, and is officially out of rehab, according to TMZ.

The teen, who was released Wednesday, is focusing on her music career and has even returned to her Instagram account. In a live video from earlier this week, the controversial starlet shared with her followers that she’s “back and better than ever.” Adding how she needed to separate herself from “some people,” the IG personality explained there “was a lot going on in my personal life.”

We’re glad to hear she’s out after what was hopefully a successful stint.

Bhad Bhabie, the young rapper who burst onto the scene as the “Cash Me Ousside” girl on Dr. Phil in 2016, has officially been checked into a rehab facility.

According to TMZ, the artist (whose real name is Danielle Bregoli) is currently seeking treatment for several serious issues including childhood trauma and prescription pill abuse. The location of the center has not been disclosed (thankfully!), however, her team confirmed she has been there for several weeks and could be staying for up to 90 days.

A rep for Bregoli told the outlet:

“We are very proud of Danielle for recognizing that she needed help and seeking it out.”

Apparently, the 17-year-old star had been struggling for some time and reached out for help as members of her inner circle had started to notice things were off, too. Danielle’s team told the outlet she’s doing well right now and remains “optimistic about her progress.”

This report comes a little over a month after fans called out her out for wearing makeup several shades darker than her skin, “blackfishing” on social media, and making offensive comments where she compared her experience growing up “in the hood” to that of the fictional character, Tarzan.

We sincerely hope she continues to get the help she needs. Especially during these crazy times!

Hang in there, gurl…
