With all of the mystery surrounding Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls‘ respective deaths, we can’t say we’re surprised at the hype for USA‘s Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G.
Not to mention, the show’s stars — Wavyy Jonez and Marcc Rose — transformed from fans to “super-fans” while making the drama. As both parts were daunting ones to take on, both Jonez and Rose did A LOT of research before they jumped into the project. In regards to the music icons mysterious deaths, Marcc told Us Weekly:
“I heard so many different things. I’m not going to say I had a theory, but I heard so many different things that I really didn’t know what to believe. You just don’t know what to believe and you want to put your best judgment forward, but you want to also dig deep into the facts, and I think with Unsolved, that’s what we was able to do. Just reading through the script, I was able to put so many of the theories that I heard ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ or a lot of the ├óΓé¼╦£he said, she said’ and naysayers, to bed.”
Well, well. We’re certainly intrigued to see how USA documents this tragedy.
