The Bill Cosby rape trial verdict is in. He has finally been found guilty.
For women struggling to find evidence of justice in this fight, it was a moment for laughter, for tears, and unfortunately for more anger — after all, he’s just one predator.

Still, there was celebration. This was a long time coming.
See how Rose McGowan, Chelsea Handler, Amber Ruffin, and more responded to the news (below):
Cosby is guilty. I’m sorry if you loved a lie. His victims can now exhale. Thank you judge and jury. Thank you society for waking up.

In a fitting end to Sexual Assault Awareness month, Bill Cosby was found guilty today. Thinking of all the women he traumatized over the past 50 years. As a survivor myself, I know that pain never fully goes away. But I hope that his victims finally feel some semblance of peace.

Finally some justice for Bill Cosby’s victims. May they find a little #peace today. #GUILTY

I wonder how long it’s going to take Trump to announce he’s going to pardon Bill Cosby.

The state of America is this- Even with dozens of accusers we were all afraid Bill Cosby would walk.

This made me burst into tears. https://t.co/flNBU2TkUT

I’m already tired of hearing commentators say the 30 years Cosby faces is a “life sentence.”
He had 80 years of freedom though accused by 60+ women of sexual assault. He had a long life of freedom, and now he’ll likely serve a little time.

Today is kind of overdoing its theme of “fallen idols.”

Bill Cosby found guilty on all charges. Harvey Weinstein, you’re up next.

Every headline from now on should say –
“Rapist Bill Cosby.”
“Bill Cosby, Rapist and Entertainer.”
“Convicted Rapist Bill Cosby.”
Y’all hesitated while those women shared their stories. You have no excuse now.

Now that Cosby has been found guilty, I’d like @hannibalburess to tell some jokes about the people behind the 2008 financial collapse.

Bill Cosby is going to prison. The #GoldenStateKiller has been arrested. Largely thanks to the courage and dedication of women who refused to be silenced. This is a good, important week.

I know we have one day left but what if we get Cosby and the Golden State Killer and Trump in the same week.
