As you know, Bill Cosby was found guilty back in April of drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand over a decade ago.
But what consequences will he face?
The 81-year-old’s sentencing was announced today, and it is not exactly a slap on the wrist.

After his lawyers argued his age should be taken into consideration; they even asked for house arrest. Judge Steven O’Neill agreed instead with prosecutors, ruling Cosby is a “sexually violent predator.”
That legal terminology means Cosby will be forced to undergo monthly counseling the rest of his life AND be added to the sex offender registry.
As for prison time?
Out of a maximum of 10 years (prosecutors agreed to merge his 3 counts into one), America’s former dad will serve 3-10 years of total confinement in state prison.
