Y’all might not remember this, but back in the day Billy Ray Cyrus was just as popular as his daughter Miley Cyrus.
In fact, he may have been even more popular!
We know. It’s hard to imagine, but it’s true!
So Billy Ray knows all about the pitfalls of fame, and offers his advice to Miley anytime she wants it!
Here’s what he said:
“I like right now just being her daddy and her friend. I like where our relationship is at right now. I’m very proud of her. There’s two sides to the sword, and fame is a very dangerous thing. So you handle it with respect and caution, step by step, day by day. Knowing that, for me, I had a friend to talk to├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥he was called my dad├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥and that’s what I try to be for Miley.”
A friend AND a dad!
Talk about one heck of a multi-tasker!
We think it is so cool of Billy Ray to be a friend first and a pop second.
