Blac Chyna‘s ex-boyfriend, Kid Buu, was once charged and convicted of child abuse.
According to TMZ on Monday, back in 2008, the rapper was booked by authorities in Florida after cops say he punched his baby mama in front of their child.
Apparently, the then-19-year-old (born Markquez Santiago) got into a fight with his girlfriend (a minor) over her wanting to cash a check, which he allegedly snatched out of her hands while leaving their apartment.

Allegedly, when he returned and found her in the bedroom, she threatened to call 911. That’s when the musician allegedly punched her with a closed fist, in front of their then-two-year-old daughter.
After this alleged incident, he pulled out a gun and told her he would “kill the cops” if they came.
When she escaped and called the police using a security guard’s phone, Buu was eventually arrested after refusing to cooperate. The gun in question was never recovered.
Although he denied the allegations, he eventually pled guilty to charges of child abuse (without causing great bodily harm), intimidation, robbery by sudden snatching, and criminal mischief. He did so “for [his] own convenience and to move on with life.”
He was sentenced to two years probation, which he completed in 2010.
As we reported, Buu denied allegations he slammed Chyna up against a wall and choked her during their trip to Hawaii.
