Blake Lively wants even more protection in her lawsuit against Justin Baldoni!
On Thursday, Blake and Ryan Reynolds‘ attorneys submitted a letter to Judge Lewis J. Liman requesting a stronger protective order than the court’s “model” one they already received.
As part of the requests for “additional protections,” they are asking for “an Attorney’s Eyes Only (‘AEO’) category, which applies to ‘Confidential Discovery Material of such a highly confidential and personal, sensitive, or proprietary nature that the revelation of such is likely to cause a competitive, business, commercial, financial, personal or privacy injury.'”
WHOA.

They are really trying to keep some evidence out of the public eye, it would seem! Is it because they are trying to protect someone — say Taylor Swift — who could say anything and it would become a major headline? Or is the actual discovery material that damning?? Hmm.
The lawyers went on to insist that “good cause exists for the Court to adopt the Proposed PO,” citing Blake’s amended complaint. They explained:
“As detailed in Ms. Lively’s Amended Complaint, Ms. Lively, her family, other members of the cast, various fact witnesses, and individuals that have spoken out publicly in support of Ms. Lively have received violent, profane, sexist, and threatening communications.”
In her amended lawsuit, the Gossip Girl star also claimed there are two other actresses from It Ends With Us who raised concerns about Justin or his Wayfarer producing pal Jamey Heath. Their names and evidence were not included in her filing, but she said they were willing to testify. So, they’re certainly among those she’s trying to protect.
By the way, both parties previously agreed to a protective order. The judge also thought it was a good idea because of how many “high profile people” were involved, so we’ll see if he’s open to this even stronger request.
