Blake Lively Threatened To Release '10 Years Of Private Texts' From Taylor Swift After Super Bowl Snub, According To Sworn Affidavit!

Blake Lively Threatened Release Taylor Swift Text Messages 10 Years After Super Bowl Snub

Whoa! We now know more than ever about the worst allegations against Blake Lively so far: extorting and threatening her supposed BFF.

Justin Baldoni‘s lawyer Bryan Freedman claimed in a letter this week that Blake had, through her legal team, tried to coerce Taylor Swift into publicly supporting her. After their denial, Freedman doubled down — this time with a sworn affidavit! And not only did he put his legal reputation on the line with the legal filing, he’s spilling WAY more tea! And this is boiling, y’all!

In the affidavit, obtained by People, he swears on Valentine’s Day he “received a voicemail from a person very closely linked to Taylor Swift.” He called back and spoke to this Taylor source for an hour, he says — and they gave him the goods!

This unnamed insider told him that Taylor’s attorney J. Douglas Baldridge had informed them directly of a call from Michael Gottlieb, who represents Blake and Ryan Reynolds. They said Gottlieb “requested, on Ms. Lively’s behalf, that Taylor Swift make a social media statement in support of Ms. Lively given her absence from the Super Bowl that year.”

The Super Bowl?? Yes, supposedly Blake was so upset about Taylor not bringing her back to the big game like the previous year — or at least upset about the optics of not being invited — that she decided she needed Tay to say something to put the feud rumors to bed.

But this wasn’t a friend asking a friend. It was a lawyer reaching out to a lawyer. And it wasn’t a simple favor. It was a threat! Gottlieb allegedly “stated that if Ms. Swift failed to do so, Ms. Lively would release ’10 years’ of private texts with Ms. Swift.”

THAT was the threat? Not to release a specific text or two… Blake was allegedly threatening to go scorched earth and just release it ALL! Can you imagine a friend threatening to make all your conversations public? Every time you vented, every intimate detail you shared about a boyfriend, every time you talked s**t… How awful if true!

The insider also told him Blake had asked Taylor “four or five months earlier” to “delete her text messages with Ms. Lively.” Whoa!

OK, we’d heard that in the initial letter. But let’s take these things together, since they were in one call… OK, so Blake allegedly asked Tay to delete the messages. Imagine Tay had done that. Imagine she’d deleted her texts with Blake, thinking it was going to protect her friend. Hell, maybe she was told it was to protect herself! Because they were going to be investigated and anything private, anything she didn’t want exposed, should be deleted! So Tay does it, right, hypothetically. All Tay’s copies gone. Then hypothetically Blake could threaten to release a decade of texts — only strategically. She could release partial or doctored texts, and Taylor would have no way to prove it — because she had already deleted the real thing on her end!

If that’s what the Tay source was suggesting to Freedman, we are just floored. This is truly some of the most horrid, diabolical “friend” behavior we’ve ever heard someone be accused of. And all too similar to what Baldoni has already tried to show Blake did with his messages, right?

And Freedman says in the affidavit he’s had “several phone calls” with the individual since February, too. So maybe there’s more. Damn!

After the sworn affidavit, Gottlieb reiterated his denial to People, saying:

“Another day, another bogus filing designed for clickbait. We reiterate our unequivocal denial.”

He added that the allegations “rely completely upon a source, no matter who it is, that doesn’t even claim to have witnessed the conversations that Freedman describes, making this triple-hearsay statement as unreliable as information reported from children in a game of telephone.”

“These claims remain completely untethered from reality — to be clear: The conversations as described did not happen, and we will hold Mr. Freedman accountable for his misconduct.”

Oh come on. Would Bryan Freedman really release a sworn affidavit that was all a lie?? Or did a source close to Taylor really tell him all this? And if so… why would they lie?? It really sounds like Blake chose to play hardball with her bestie, feelings be damned. And if so, it really may be the worst thing she’s done. We mean, just vile stuff to do to a friend.

What do YOU think, Perezcious paralegals?? Who do YOU believe??
