Breeding Facility Charged With Animal Cruelty! So Horrible, Rescuers Need Counseling!!

Mitchell Behm & David Delgado

This is seriously disturbing and awful and we’re just sick to our stomachs!!

Global Captive Breeders was investigated by PETA, undercover of course, and it was found that unspeakable acts of cruelty were being perpetrated at the facility.

Mitchell Behm, the 54-year-old owner, and David Delgado, also known as Jose Magana, the 29-year-old manager, have been arrested and are charged with over 100 counts of felony animal cruelty for the treatment of their 18,400 rats and 600 reptiles.

Rats were starving or already dead in their cages, crammed together with no food.

They were even eating each other alive!!

PETA documented all sorts of neglect and even abuse like throwing rats around, shooting them with a BB gun, freezing them alive and stomping on them!

So terrible!!

The worst part is, the animals were too far gone to be saved. The poor creatures were put down in the facility.

Things were so sad and the environment was so toxic from accumulated ammonia from feces and urine that people were actually getting sick.

Several volunteers leading the clean up broke down emotionally. Some needed counseling to help them cope.

We can’t imagine what those rescuers had to go through, let alone what those poor animals had to go through!!

We’re so glad these men were caught and hope the court throws the book at them!!
