We had heard whispers of country singer Zach Bryan‘s behavior towards the women he dates — but these details are downright diabolical.
After taking some time off, Brianna Chickenfry (born Brianna LaPaglia) rejoined her co-hosts Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards for their popular BFFs Podcast — during an entire episode about Zach! This comes after Dave and Josh dropped their epic diss track about the performer and what he did to their friend.

On Thursday, Brianna first had a solo segment where she detailed her experience with emotional abuse the Revival crooner put her through. She opened up:
“The last year of my life has been the hardest year of my life dealing with the abuse from this dude. I’m still scared right now because I’m scared of him. My brain’s rewired and I’m scared to make him mad and last week, I didn’t want to talk about it ’cause I was scared.”
Terrible. Like many abusive situations, the PlanBri Uncut host said it was a cycle of being built up and beat down:
“There was always another excuse as to why he was treating me so poorly and why I’m crying myself to sleep every night. Why he’s screaming at me and then you wake up, it’s the apology, it’s the ‘I’m going to be better like I need you in my life,’ but if you’ve been through this — I don’t expect people to understand emotional abuse if you haven’t been through it. I hope you never have to go through it but if you’ve been there you know what I’m talking about… It came down to the point of I’m not the people before, and I was someone before you, and you made the women before me believe that they had no other choice than to take money from you, sign their experiences away, sign what they went through away.”
The money she is referencing here is a $12 million payout (a “big lump sum and a few options”) Zach’s team allegedly offered her. She detailed it would have come with an NDA and forced her to stay silent about the former relationship. Bri went on:
“You get to go skip off and sing your little f**king songs on stage like you’re a good dude. You get to treat people around you like s**t. Sorry, I’m not them. I don’t want your money; I don’t want in two years to buy a f**king house and think, ‘Oh, this is the money from the dude that literally f**king destroyed me and broke me for a year.’ You made the women before me believe that they had no other choice but to take money from you. [They] signed their experiences and what they went through away [so] you get to go skip off and sing you little f**k songs on stage like you’re a good dude.”
DAMN.
LaPaglia also thanked her support system and shared she’s not out to expose all of her ex’s issues, which seem to be plentiful:
“It’s for anyone that don’t have a support system that I luckily had going through this. This isn’t like a drama thing for me, this isn’t me not signing the NDA or not taking the money because I wanna get on here and expose who he is and all that s—. I’m not signing away my experiences and what I went through to protect someone that hurt me and I’m a lot stronger than a weak man, f– you and f— your money.”
She spoke about so much more, but we’ll leave you with one parting quote…
“I’m alight where I’m at and I don’t want blood money. I don’t think you can pay people off that you hurt [and expect] for them to protect you … offering millions of dollars to this apparent beautiful relationship [and] keep it a secret, speaks volumes.”
