Patrick Dempsey Joins The New Bridget Jones Movie -- Is McDreamy Replacing Hugh Grant??

It’s been a long time coming, but Bridget Jones’s Baby may finally be due.
That’s because the third movie in the Ren├â┬⌐e Zellweger rom-com just found its third lead in the form of Patrick Dempsey!
While Ren├â┬⌐e and Colin Firth both agreed to do the follow-up to 2001’s Bridget Jones’s Diary and 2004’s Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, Hugh Grant declined the offer since he found the script to be poorly written.
Ouch.

Still, it should be fun to see the (former) Grey’s Anatomy star get into mischief with the cast!
Bridget Jones’s Baby has been in the works since 2009, so hopefully Patrick’s casting really gets the ball rolling.
But the question is… would U watch a Bridget Jones movie without Hugh?!
