Oh, well then that’s okay! LOL!
Bristol Palin insists the F-bomb her son dropped on national television was the OTHER, less homophobic, F-word.
A clip from Sunday night’s episode of Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp, featured Bristol’s toddler calling his aunt an offensive f-word … and the moment received a LOT of attention yesterday.
Many people — including news outlets and blogs (including us) — thought the 3-year-old said a horrible gay slur. However, according to a recent post on Bristol’s blog, we were all mistaken.
Sarah Palin’s darling daughter wrote:
“As I’ve said before, I sometimes struggle to raise Tripp. However, he does NOT use slurs. On the most recent episode of Life’s a Tripp, the Huffington Post is reporting that my son said the word ‘f—-t. This is not true. Let me be clear. I’m not proud of what he did say. Sadly, he used a different ‘f word.'”
Life’s a Tripp showrunner Matt Lutz backs up the Palin child’s story, claiming Tripp said “f**k” and not “f****t.”
We are relieved to hear that … but not really.
As we said before, there’s NO WAY a 3-year-old could understand the implications behind either f-words. However, hearing a child say a hateful word (like the one we thought he said) in such a casual way is just a tad more terrifying.
Hate can be instilled at a young age. We are VERY happy to hear that is not happening to Tripp.
Now, if she can only get him to stop saying f**k….
