Kevin Federline wants a hell of a lot more than a Piece Of ex Britney Spears.
As you surely know, the former flames have been at odds over how much child support the 40-year-old backup dancer is due. Currently, KFed receives $20,000 a month in child support from Spears and has been contesting this amount with Godney’s camp since February.

According to Kevin’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan, Britney’s baby daddy deserves “at least three times the amount” that the pop sensation is currently shelling out. The legal expert explained to Us Weekly:
“We gave them ample time and opportunity to settle Kevin’s child support modification increase, and they came back with conditions that are not reasonable. It’s their position that they don’t have to turn over Britney’s financial information, including tax returns, which is required under the California family code. It’s not California celebrity code edition, she has to comply.”
Oh snap — SHOTS HAVE BEEN FIRED. He continued:
“This is the choice they have made, and they will now have to deal with it. We are still open to try and settling this without judicial intervention.”
This statement by Kaplan comes just as it was reported that Federline’s team filed court documents requesting more child support from the 36-year-old pop icon. In the new documents, obtained by The Blast, it’s revealed that the dancer turned DJ makes “approximately $3,000 per month.” That’s reportedly less than one percent of Britney’s annual income.
Kevin and Britney, who were married between 2004 and 2007, share sons Sean Preston (12) and Jayden James (11). However, Kevin also has teenagers Kori (15) and Kaleb (13) with ex-fiancée Shar Jackson. Not to mention, Federline went on to welcome Jordan (6) and Peyton (3) with wife Victoria Prince.

It’s been suggested that Britney doesn’t want to increase Kevin’s stipend as she feels she’s paying for his four other kids. We mean, that’s fair…
Still, the music maker has a responsibility to maintain Sean Preston and Jayden James’ lavish lifestyle while they’re with their father — who still has custody of the boys. Kevin has since declared that he’s “simply less of a ├óΓé¼╦£name’ and less in demand than he was in 2008,” back when the child support sum was determined.
As for what’s next, Kaplan concluded:
“A court hearing will be set, and the parties will engage in financial discovery, which will enable guideline support payment that Kevin should receive. This won’t be difficult for us, Kevin is asking for the reasonable needs of the children to be met, which is at least three times the amount Kevin is currently getting. This is based on her earnings which have been publicly reported. We are also asking for attorney’s fees because it didn’t have to come to this.”
Britney better call up Jamie Spears and the rest of her team, because a messy baby daddy legal battle is a-brewin’! Oof!!
