Sometimes the best way to get through a breakup is through the power of song!
In a recent interview, Britney Spears riffed on how her latest album Britney Jean dealt a lot with her disengaged engagement with Jason Trawick, and how the breakup that forced all eyes on them was fuel for creative fire:
“Actually I really kinda had no choice. Because at the time I was going through a breakup that was kind of public, and everyone knew about it. And I felt like, it’s not a secret, so why not write about it and say how I’m feeling about it and what it feels like?”
Way to go Brit-Brit! We’re glad that you can use something super sad for something super glorious as Britney Jean!
