Britney Spears Checks Out Of Rehab After DUI! She's Spotted In LA For First Time!

You won’t catch Britney Spears behind the wheel! She isn’t taking any risks after finishing rehab!

As we previously reported, the pop star checked herself into rehab this month after being arrested for a DUI in March to focus on her substance abuse issues — and in the hopes of receiving a smaller consequence, which she got! But it appears she is already out!

According to pics obtained by TMZ, Britney was spotted being carted around in a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon around Westlake Village and Calabasas. She did not drive but rode shotgun instead, with her feet pressed against the dashboard and the windshield.

Sources told TMZ that Britney checked out of rehab on Wednesday and returned home that same night. They say she is happy, healthy, and more importantly, clean and sober at this time. We love to hear that! See the pics of Brit’s first sighting HERE.

This comes as the DA officially charged her with a DUI. But fortunately, she will likely avoid going to jail. Prosecutors are prepared to offer her a “wet reckless,” meaning she needs to plead guilty to reckless driving involving alcohol and/or drugs. She’ll then be on probation for 12 months, and she must complete a DUI class and pay any state-mandated fines and fees.
