Britney Spears Told Police Officer WHAT During DUI Arrest?! New Details Revealed!

Britney Spears’ DUI Police Report Reveals New Details of Arrest: Prozac and Adderall Use, More

Britney Spears‘ arrest was messy AF!

Back in early March, the pop star made headlines for her DUI arrest, which led to charges and a plea deal that’ll see her on probation for the next 12 months, among other requirements. She even did a quick stint in rehab to focus on her mental health alleged substance abuse after the crisis.

Now, there’s no more guessing and piecing together from media reports what happened during the arrest. Us Weekly obtained the police report on Wednesday!

The legal docs detail that Brit Brit was pulled over near her home in Ventura County, California, on March 4, just after 9 p.m. local time. Police were responding after a report of someone “traveling at high speeds and swerving.” The officer then saw Britney’s car illegally cross into another lane by “approximately” two feet several times before finally a siren was put on to pull her over:

“[The subject] continued to drive in the #2 lane and did not immediately react to my emergency lights. I activated the [police car’s] siren to get the driver’s attention.”

Once the Circus artist pulled over, she was wearing a “worn” green striped dress and purple sandals. The officer noticed a “distinct odor of an alcoholic beverage” from inside the car, and the musician allegedly admitted to having one champagne mimosa seven hours earlier. She allegedly added:

“I could probably drink four bottles of wine and take care of you. I’m an angel.”

Oh, no… That’s NOT the thing to say when pulled over!

Britney also said she’d taken multiple prescription drugs that day, including 200mg of anticonvulsant and mood stabilizer Lamictal, 40mg of antidepressant Prozac, and 2.5 mg of ADHD medication Adderall. She also said her most recent meal was ice cream at around 3 p.m. that day. The report continued:

“[An officer] located a brown purse that contained a bottle of pills labeled ‘Adderall,’ which were not prescribed to Spears. [The officer] also observed an empty wine glass in the cup holder between the front driver seat and passenger seat.”

The officer also determined the mother of two had “red and watery” eyes with dilated pupils. She later told officers she was a “zero” on a sobriety scale of zero to 10, and she passed two chemical breath tests once transported back to the precinct. Before those results were in, however, the officer said:

“I instructed Spears to exit the [car], but she initially refused. Spears related she had been pranked and harassed in the past and did not want to exit.”

The performer said she “wanted to speak to her lawyer and had the right as a woman not to exit her vehicle.” After about 10 minutes of objections, she ultimately agreed to get out of the car:

“I detected the distinct odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from her breath and person. Her speech was rapid and slurred, her gait was unsteady, and she was fidgeting with her fingers.”

During the interaction, the officer noted “drastic mood swings,” plus Britney was using a British accent at times, and her mood changed from “confrontational and agitated to flamboyant.”

The officer tried to administer field sobriety tests, but Britney said she was not feeling well and didn’t want to complete them:

“Spears related the lights were hurting her head and did not want to continue the test. Spears was unable or unwilling to follow my finger throughout the test. Spears continued to move her head throughout the test after being instructed to keep her head still. Spears related that she was blind in her left eye, but was able to see my finger.”

The report detailed that Britney was first taken to CHP Moorpark Office for a Drug Recognition Evaluation and then to Los Robles Medical Center in Thousand Oaks for a blood draw, where her antics continued:

“In an attempt to delay the blood draw, Spears related she needed to use the restroom. While in the restroom. Spears became argumentative and belligerent. I placed Spears in handcuffs and placed her in the right front seat of the [police vehicle].”

As we previously reported, Britney’s blood alcohol content came in at .06, under the legal limit of .08 or higher in Cali. After rehab, Britney accepted a “wet reckless” plea deal.

We’re certainly glad nobody was hurt during this incident. It sounds like a chaotic night. Hopefully, this never happens again!
