Sundance 2013: CAA's Fake Penis Party Spurs No Apologies!!

caa sundance fake penis sex dancers party annual offensive no apology
If you somehow went to CAA’s annual Sundance talent agency event — and left because you were offended — they’d like you to know they’re totally not sorry and that you should grow a pair.
Ugh, really???
CAA doesn’t invite the media to the shindig, and for good reason — according to THR‘s Matt Belloni, things went down like this:

“[There was a] team of pole-shimmying, barely-dressed burlesque dancers. At least one of them upped the ante by dancing with a strap-on penis, which sources say she used during an extended routine to tease the photo-snapping crowd of CAA clients, film executives and other festival-goers. Two dancers also performed what was described by a source as a simulated sex act on a bed in the party space… The act was too suggestive for at least one female party-goer who [says] she was offended and left the event… The performance by Simon Hammerstein’s The Act LV was more explicit than intended.”

That sounds pretty intense, we’re not gonna lie!!
We HAD heard that a CAA rep said:

├óΓé¼┼ôWe regret if this created an uncomfortable setting for any of our guests.”

Which, we’re now hearing is not really an apology, because they’re not sorry at all! We don’t really think they HAVE to be sorry, but maybe they should’ve warned everyone before they showed up. A “WARNING: FAKE DICKS” might have helped in the long run!
Or, they should learn to throw a party that doesn’t rely on shock-value!
LOLz! We wonder if there were any stars there, and how THEY feel!
