It’s only been a couple weeks since she married Matthew McConaughey, and Camila Alves is already entering a new partnership.
On the heels of their magical journey to Brazil, the Macy’s has tapped the Brazilian-born beauty to be the brand ambassador for their private label I.N.C..
The newlywed got the gig after wining and dining the department store at her Texas homestead:
“When Macy├óΓé¼Γäós approached me about this, I told them we need more than a meeting in New York. I had the team to my home in Austin, cooked some food and had some wine. They├óΓé¼Γäóve got to really like me ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ it├óΓé¼Γäós a big partnership.”
Either that or it was really good wine! Ha!
Mrs. McConaughey also appealed to Macy’s because she’s more than just a pretty face. Senior vice president of merchandising at Macy├óΓé¼Γäós Merchandising Group, Nancy Slavin explained:
“Camila has a beautiful, multiethnic appearance that will appeal to a diverse customer base. She├óΓé¼Γäós on the red carpet, but she├óΓé¼Γäós also a mother. It├óΓé¼Γäós an incredible package that will deliver star power to our star brand at Macy├óΓé¼Γäós.”
As brand ambassador, Camila will appear in the print and TV campaign, which will roll out this fall.
There’s nothing better than getting married to one of the hottest Hollywood hunks then snatching a perfect gig.
Mrs. McConaughey is one lucky lady!
